You do have time.
And would you believe you can have not only enough time but an abundance of time?
A couple months ago, I didn’t believe it either.
My husband had gone to school, leaving me the primary at-home parent for two kids under five for twelve hours a day. Suddenly, every SoMe Card about stay at home moms drinking made sense to me. I guess you could say I didn’t handle it well.
Dishes piled up. I missed important deadlines. Things always seemed like they were a mess – myself included.
How did this even happen? A quick look around my house made it clear I’d let my stuff and my commitments get out of control. I mean, I’m a decluttering queen. It’s not like I had a lot of extra junk around. Or did I? I wrote the book on it.
The thing was I’d never had a good plan or support for managing a home AND a business.
Does this sound familiar? You:
- Feel unfocused and frustrated you don’t have the time to do the things you really care about doing.
- Have tried every productivity system ever and nothing has worked for you.
- Overwhelmed because everything is your job, from making sure there’s milk in the fridge to keeping Legos off the floor.
That’s where I was, too. I was determined to find a simple system to get out of overwhelm and into ease so I could be a great parent and a successful business owner. The good news is there are certain ways to get your house and business under control that actually work for work at home parents. Since I started using these strategies, I’ve been able to:
- Launch my most successful business venture to date in less than 48 hours
- Let go of “busy-ness” and embrace ease
- Keep my house cleaner consistently – and get my commitments under control
When you have a plan and support, then you can live a better life with less stuff, have more time for pursuing what you love, and focus on what really matters.
That’s why I created the Work At Home Productivity Pack. It’s a simple system and series of worksheets made especially for parents who want to feel accomplished at home and in business.
The Work at Home Productivity Pack will be released live at a Google Hangout On Air. Click here to add it to your calendar.
Sound good? You’ll leave this event with a clear plan to take back your house, your business, and your sanity.
You can be a successful stay at home parent AND business owner.

Unexpected news
I’m still reeling from Wednesday. Making good on a campaign promise, Biden’s administration provided student loan relief to millions – including myself. As a recipient of Pell grants, meaning I was very poor when I went to college, $20,000 of my student loans were effectively wiped away with the stroke of a pen. I had…
